If you used the list of players at the bottom of last week’s article, congratulations because you surely won some cash. Now, I’m not finding nearly as many players this week I like, but I will give you all of the guys I do.
QB: Andy Dalton ($6,000)
Player(s) you can stack him with: AJ Green ($8,600), Brandon LaFell ($3,900)
Dalton and Green is the no-doubt stack for this week, especially if you prefer 50/50 contests. LaFell is someone I would only consider in a GPP, as his inconsistency is well-documented. It won’t be low-owned but it will score points, which is the goal, isn’t it?
Who to Fade
Antonio Brown ($9,300)
Antonio Brown is going up against my Patriots, who refuse to give up a big game to anybody. In fact, there hasn’t been a single play longer than 40 yards against the Pats. Add onto that the fact that Landry Jones is in at QB, and I’m selling my AB84 stock this week.
Allen Robinson ($7,300)
A-Rob is one of the most trendy DFS picks this week, because of how bad the Oakland defense is. But, as Michael Lombardi (whose Twitter you must follow) pointed out, Oakland’s corners are fine against tall wideouts, it’s the quicker and shiftier receivers they struggle with. I’m also still unsure if he was a one-hit-wonder or not, so until he proves that he’s still just as good as his stellar campaign last season, I’m a bit hesitant.
Don’t Sleep on These Guys
Rob Gronkowksi ($7,200)
“Gronk” is easily my favorite play this week. He’s going up against the Steelers, who in case, you didn’t know, sturggle to cover him. Well, struggle is generous. In his last 2 games against Pittsburgh, he has a combined 14 catches for 237 yards and 4 TDs. Pretty good.
Jamison Crowder ($4,300)
Crowder, who only has one game this season without double-digit points, should see a sizeable increase in targets this week due to the absence of Jordan Reed and the unknown status of DeSean Jackson.
Kendall Wright ($3,700)
Wright finally emerged last week with a huge performance, and assuming he sees an increased amount of snaps this week, he should have another solid game. He draws one of the better PFF Matchup Grades this week.
I like to leave some picks at the end, make sure you read these because I tend to have some great ones down here.
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr.
Alex Smith/Jeremy Maclin
Mike Gillislee (if LeSean McCoy doesn’t play)
